Progress at May Meeting

In 2013, NJNA canvassed its members to determine what projects to do this year.  After voting, we elected to do St. Margaret’s Star, a Michael Boren/Carole Lake “Stitch for a Cause” that was published in “Needlepoint Now” in 2012.  We contacted Carole and she agreed to send us the design details as long as we make a donation to one of the designated charities.  After a vote, our members elected to give money to each of the five designated charities.

Some of our members decided to choose their own color combinations and many of us were forced to make thread-type substitutions.  The net result has been a fabulous array of combinations.
