WELCOME TO THE NEW JERSEY NEEDLE ARTISTS (NJNA) WEBSITE!
NJNA is the northern New Jersey chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild (ANG). We are an active Chapter, meeting monthly to share our love of needlework. Our Chapter includes stitchers at all levels, with a variety of needlework interests.
NJNA meets the third Wednesday of each month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. We are once again meeting in person at the Bernards Township Library in Basking Ridge, as well as on Zoom. Prior to the meeting, starting at 6:00 p.m., members gather at the Library for open stitching. Sign-in for Zoom starts at 6:45 p.m.
We generally have a scheduled program – needlework project, lecture, or demonstration – as well as Show-and-Tell, which is an opportunity for our members to display and talk about their stitched pieces.
Our current year programs are listed in the sidebar and past programs are in Chapter Programs.
Our Workshop Chair has been very active in scheduling project workshops and stitch-in dates at local needlework shops to provide opportunities for our members to socialize while catching up on their stitching. Past Workshops have included Gail Stafford’s A Dusting of Snow, Vicky Witterschein’s Petite Watering Can, and David McCaskill’s Background Samplers I and II.
News about NJNA can be found on the NJNA Blog – NJNA is Blogging!
We hope that you will decide to become an NJNA member and add your talents to our group. NJNA Annual Dues are $30 and you must be a member of the ANG national organization. Click here for the NJNA Membership Form.
We invite you to visit one of our meetings, either in-person or on Zoom, to experience what we have to offer. Beginner stitchers are always welcome; you will find so many fellow stitchers willing to assist you on your needlepoint journey.
Please contact NJNA if you have any questions or need additional information.
Happy Stitching!
