NJNA tried something new in 2016 – mini projects that covered a wide range of stitches and techniques! NJNA provided members with instructions and canvas for each of these small projects. Any member who completed at least three received a prize at the end of the year of a pair of cute bunny scissors! Most of the projects were great stash-busters and required no purchases! Members were provided with the threads listed for the stitched model, and were encouraged to use them to pick similar threads from their stash (e.g., I had lots of Waterlilies and DMC in my stash for Starburst – but no Treasure Braid. So, I googled it and found that #4 Kreinik was a good substitute and I had lots of that in my stash!)
